    Leads on: Driving forwards our commercial ambitions, securing partners and putting the operational building blocks in place for growth.

    Before Decently: 18yrs in EdTech delivering SaaS based solutions to schools, MATs & local authorities. A master of all things sales, account management, operations, HR, IT & compliance.

  • James Chapman - Cofounder

    James Chapman (JC)

    CO-FOUNDER & PRODUCT LEAD

    Leads on: Working with our clinical partners to shape and manage our product roadmap for Melo, whilst leading our Product team.

    Before Decently: 8yrs in HealthTech building products and leading R&D projects with the NHS, charities & academia. Founding MD of an award winning digital health startup focussed on falls prevention & fellow of the NHS Digital Health Accelerator.

  • Charlie Dowd - Product Designer

    PRODUCT DESIGNER

    Leads on: All things UI and UX whilst focussing on how Melo looks, feels and delivers real tangible value to our users.

    Before Decently: Held a variety of roles across UI/UX, Project Management and Human Centred Design. Most recently part of a Design team at an EdTech company working across a range of SaaS-based products.

    LEAD PRODUCT DEVELOPER

    Leads on: The technical build, implementation, testing, and deployment of Melo across front and back-end builds.

    Before Decently: Held a variety of full stack developer roles whilst securing a BSc in Computer Software Engineering from Manchester Met University.

    Leads on: All things Data & Machine Learning, building out our long term ethical AI layer into Melo.

    Before Decently: Worked for Liverpool University as a Data Scientist as part of the Virtual Engineering Centre, before previously holding roles with Accenture as a software engineer.

    FULLSTACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER

    Leads on: Full stack development plus all thing Dev Ops, hosting, QA, testing and deployment of Melo.

    Before Decently: 5 years at Spotify working across a range of technical operations, agile coaching and customer roles before retraining as a fullstack developer.

    Leads on: Ensuring our current clients are setup to succeed, growing and developing relationships with potential new clients and supporting with marketing efforts across the team.

    Before Decently: Sector experience in digital health technology, with a variety of various roles spanning sales, customer success and administration. Previously worked as a Digital Health Assessor at ORCHA.

    Alongside Decently: Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist in the NHS, together with providing private services via his own clinical practice.

    Involved in: Translating the product vision into a clear tech strategy and roadmap - together with an active role in working with our customers, partners and product team to ensure we are building our products in the right way for scale, regulation and security.

    Alongside Decently: Fractional CTO with 20yrs experience in software engineering and IT leadership across multiple sectors - with extensive experience of digital product design, architecture, build and deployment.
